Are you into sharing? Then split the 13.1 miles and run 6.55 miles each! Grab your training buddy, bestie, or favorite family member, and run the half-marathon as a team of two. You will exchange the timing chip approximately half-way through the course at Ferg’s Sports Bar on Central Ave. All you have to do is dream up the most creative team name possible, and then dress to match! Your team will receive one chip to exchange, two run bibs, two logo t-shirts, two custom finisher medals, plus post-race local food and brews.
Your run starts on Bayshore Drive next to the world-renowned Salvador Dali Museum, overlooking the waters of Tampa Bay. From there head up Central Avenue, with its unique shops and restaurants, taking a run around Tropicana Field (home of the MLB Tampa Bay Rays), and through the Grand Central, Edge and Warehouse Arts districts.
Then head back to the scenic waterfront, winding through the historic Old Northeast and Snell Isle neighborhoods, before a photo finish on Bayshore Drive next to the Salvador Dali Museum.
The team member running the first half of the course will have the opportunity to join their teammate for a photo finish together on Bayshore Drive!
Each runner will receive a high quality, custom-designed shirt, bib with B-tag timing chip, St Pete inspired finisher medal, TERVIS Tumbler and Orangetheory gym towel at the finish, two craft beers from 3 Daughters Brewing, a smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and post-race food by Outback Steakhouse. In an effort to cut down on single-use plastic waste, runners will also receive a reuseable bag at packet pick-up. Plus, enjoy live entertainment, and the Health & Fitness Market.
The first relay team member to register (aka “El Capitan”) will enter their information, as well as the team name. Then they can continue to enter the second team member’s information, and pay the full entry fee.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a service fee for online registration, as well as for the mail-in option to imAthlete. Checks to imAthlete for the entry fee must be postmarked by October 18, 2017 (30 days prior to the close of online registration). There are NO REFUNDS of entry fees or service fees, no exceptions. Bib numbers are NON-TRANSFERABLE. You may CANCEL your entry, and receive a discount code, equal to 75% of your entry fee, for use towards the 2018 St. Pete Run Fest, via the imAthlete registration site.

HYDRATION ON COURSE: There are ten (10) HYDRATION STATIONS along the course. These provide water, sport drink, and energy bars/snacks.
HEADPHONES: You can wear headphones on the course, but please keep the sound at a level where you can hear instructions from course marshals, volunteers, and staff.
PETS & STROLLERS: We love dogs, and they make great training partners, but for their safety and yours, please leave your pet at home on race day. We also love the little runners of the future, but please NO STROLLERS on the half-marathon course.
