MILES FOR MEALS
We are proud to partner with the St. Petersburg Free Clinic to raise funds for their Food Bank, which feeds an average of 60,000 hungry community members a month. When you participate in the St Pete Half Marathon, 10K, or Sunshine City 5K, we will donate 20 cents for each mile you run to the St Petersburg Free Clinic Food Bank. You can also make an additional donation online when you register for any St Pete Run Fest event, or create your own fundraising page to raise even more.
Did you know 1 in 7 adults and 1 in 4 children in Pinellas County are considered hungry? The St. Petersburg Free Clinic is closing the hunger gap by making sure these individuals receive the food they need every month. Clients can benefit from a number of programs including a food pantry which distributes emergency groceries; the Pack-A-Sack Program which gives weekend food to hungry children; and Hearty Homes which distributes food to homebound senior citizens. In 2017, the Food Bank distributed a record-breaking 4.7 million pounds of food in the community, serving more individuals than ever before.
The St. Petersburg Free Clinic is doing more than just feeding people. They’re restoring hope to seniors. Nourishing kids so they can excel in school. And making families whole again. When you support the Free Clinic, you are providing hope to the hungry and help to the hurting. The St Petersburg Free Clinic is a caring organization helping to meet basic, unserved human needs through resources, volunteers, and advocacy. They provide temporary assistance for families and individuals in need of the basics of food, shelter, health care, limited financial assistance, and referral information.

#GoldTogether is the voice for pediatric cancer. Everyday 43 children (a full yellow bus) are told they have cancer in the United States. One in 5 kids do not survive cancer. Our children deserve better. All net proceeds from PeliKids Youth Runs are donated to #GoldTogether. Build healthy habits and kick kids cancer!
#GoldTogether is a movement birthed from the vision and positive energy of pediatric brain cancer survivor and Relay For Life volunteer, Cole Eicher. Cole’s dream is simple: let’s work together to have a greater impact, more options, and better outcomes for kids fighting cancer.
