Known as the “Sunshine City”, St. Pete holds the Guinness record for most consecutive sunny days – 768 to be exact. Join in the Run Fest weekend on Saturday with a 3.1 mile run along St. Pete’s beautiful waterfront. Set a PR on this USATF certified flat and fast course, or run just for fun with your family and friends.
Your run starts on Bayshore Drive next to the world-renowned Salvador Dali Museum, overlooking the waters of Tampa Bay. From there head up North Shore drive, along the scenic waterfront parks, and through the historic Old Northeast neighborhood. Then head back for a photo finish on Bayshore Drive next to the Mahaffey Theater plaza.
There is one Hydration Station on the course, featuring Gatorade Endurance Formula and water. There is also a Hydration Station at the start/finish area.

Each runner will receive a high quality, custom-designed shirt, bib with B-tag timing chip, St Pete inspired finisher medal, two craft beers from 3 Daughters Brewing, and post-race food by Outback Steakhouse. Plus, enjoy live entertainment, and the Health & Fitness Market.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a service fee for online registration, charged by imAthlete. There is no mail-in option, but you can register with cash/check at our expo booth at various events. There are NO REFUNDS of entry fees or service fees, no exceptions. Bib numbers are NON-TRANSFERABLE. You may CANCEL your entry by October 31, 2018, and receive a discount code, equal to 75% of your entry fee, for use towards the 2019 St. Pete Run Fest, via the imAthlete registration site.
The Sunshine City 5K is a fundraising event for the St. Petersburg Free Clinic Food Pantry. For every mile you run, we will donate $1 to the Food Pantry (maximum $3 per runner).

TIME LIMIT: 1 hour
PARTICIPANT LIMIT: 2,500 runners
HYDRATION ON COURSE: There is one HYDRATION STATION along the course, providing water and Gatorade Endurance Formula.
HEADPHONES: You can wear headphones on the course, but please keep the sound at a level where you can hear instructions from course marshals, volunteers, and staff.
STROLLERS: Strollers are allowed on the 5K course.
PETS: We love dogs, and they make great training partners, but for their safety and yours, please leave your pet at home on race day.
