Clean Energy Connection 5K

Known as the “Sunshine City”, St. Pete holds the Guinness record for most consecutive sunny days – 768 to be exact. Join in the Run Fest weekend on Saturday with a 3.1 mile run/walk along St. Pete’s beautiful waterfront, including the spectacular St Pete Pier.  Set a PR on this flat and fast course, or run/walk just for fun with your family and friends in the  Clean Energy Connection 5K!

The Course

Your run starts on Bayshore Drive next to the world-renowned Salvador Dali Museum, overlooking the waters of Tampa Bay. From there head into downtown and beautiful Central Ave, then along the scenic waterfront, and around the spectacular St Pete Pier. Then head back for a photo finish on Bayshore Drive next to the Mahaffey Theater plaza.

There is one Hydration Station on the course, featuring Gatorade Endurance Formula and water.  There is also a Hydration Station at the start/finish area.

MILES FOR MEALS

We are proud to partner with the St. Petersburg Free Clinic to raise funds for their Food Bank, which feeds an average of 80,000 hungry community members a month.  When you participate in the St Pete Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K, we will donate $$ for each mile you run to the St Petersburg Free Clinic Food Bank.  You can also make an additional donation online when you register for any St Pete Run Fest event.
