When does registration close for all races?

RaceRoster online registration closes on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at midnight, unless all events sell out prior.  In-person registration on the RaceRoster site available November 10-11, 2023 at packet pick-up, unless an event is sold out.

Is there a Post Race party?

Yes, there is a post-run party with local food, craft beer, and entertainment.

Are strollers allowed on the course?

Strollers are allowed on the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K courses. Please position yourself to the back of the group start.

Are Dogs allowed?

We love them too, but for your safety, and the safety of your fellow participants, dogs are not allowed on the course. Dogs are allowed in the public parks, but not on the beach or in the water. There is a dog park at Vinoy Park, not far from the race site.

Can I walk in any of the races?

You can walk in the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K, but please be aware of the course time limit of 4 hours for the Half Marathon, 2 hours for 10K, and 1 hour for the 5K.

Are spectators allowed?

Yes, spectators are welcome, and we will have spectator zones along the course, as well as a vibrant finish line area for spectators to cheer their runner.

What will the weather be like in mid-November in St. Pete?

The average weather in mid-November is sunny and 70 degrees, with the average high of 76 degrees, and average low of 62 degrees. The Half Marathon temps will most likely be in the mid-60’s. St. Pete holds the Guinness record for most consecutive days of sunshine!


How much does it cost to register?

Entry fees vary by race and date of registration. Please see the Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids Run pages for detailed information about entry fees.

Is there an age requirement to run?

Yes, the minimum age for the Half Marathon is 12, the minimum age for the 10K is 10, the minimum age for the 5K is 8, and the minimum age for the PeliKids Youth Runs is 1.

Can I transfer my entry or bib number to someone else?

No, entries and bib numbers can not be transferred to someone else, without going through the Race Roster transfer process. Unauthorized bib transfer can have serious consequences to the organizers and participants. From race results and awards, to liability and medical staff being able to correctly identify participants in need of treatment, it is imperative that the registration data associated with your race number does in fact belong to you. Participants who violate this rule will be barred from future entry.

Can I defer my entry to next year?

Yes, you can cancel your entry for 2023 by October 31, 2023, and receive a code for 75% of your entry fee to be used towards registration for the 2024 event. Please see the Refund Policy on the REGISTRATION page for details.  To defer, please email

Can I change details of my registration such as my phone number, e-mail, or t-shirt size?

Yes, you can change your details within the RaceRoster system by following instructions in your confirmation email. If you have any problems we can make the changes for you – please e-mail

How can I confirm my registration after I sign up online?

You should receive a confirmation email from RaceRoster if your registration was successful.

I registered for the Half Marathon, but would like to switch to the10K or 5K - Is this possible?

Yes, you can switch to the 10K or 5K, but the remainder of the Half Marathon entry fee is non-refundable.

I registered for the 5K or 10K, but would like to switch to the Half Marathon - Is this possible?

Yes, you can edit your registration to switch to the Half Marathon event, and the RaceRoster site will charge you the difference.

If I register now and then I get injured, can I get a refund?

Can I register at Packet Pick-up on Saturday?

Yes, if an event is not already sold out, you may register at Packet Pick-up. Please note the increase in entry fee if you register at Packet Pick-up. Also, we can not guarantee that your desired shirt size will be available. There is NO race day registration, except for the Kids Run (if it’s not sold out).

Packet Pickup

Where is Packet Pickup?

Packet pickup is at the Mahaffey Theater Plaza.  Please see the Packet Pickup page for times and exact locations.

What do I need to bring with me in order to pick up my packet/shirt?

To pick up your packet, you will need to bring a photo ID.  It is helpful to bring a copy of your email confirmation, but it is not required.

Can I have a friend or relative pick up my race packet?

Yes, if you are absolutely unable to pick up your own packet in person, you can have someone else pick up your packet, however they will need to bring these TWO things: a copy of your photo ID, and a printed/signed copy of the Packet Pick-Up Authorization Form. Your bib will not be released to another person unless BOTH of these items are brought to packet pick-up – NO EXCEPTIONS. **You do not need to fill in the Bib # – we will do that for you**

Can I pick up my packet the day of the race?

5K, 10K and Challenge participants must pick up their packet on Friday, November 10th or race morning, November 11th.   Participants running the Half Marathon can pick up their packet on Friday, Saturday (after the 5K & 10K races) or race morning. If you are absolutely unable to pick-up during these times, please e-mail

Can I exchange my shirt size if it doesn’t fit?

We want you to wear your shirt, and will make every effort to accommodate a change in shirt size. Please note that women’s sizes have a v-neck, and a more narrow cut through the waist and hips.

Where do I put my bib?

Please wear your bib on the FRONT of your torso, making sure that there are no belts or items of clothing covering your B-tag timing chip.

Where is the St. Pete Run Fest Expo located?

The EXPO is located in the Mahaffey Theater Plaza, which is the outdoor space between the Mahaffey Theater and the Dali Museum.

Where do I park for the Health & Fitness Market?

There are several parking decks near race site, as well as metered street parking. Please see our PARKING page for details.

Am I required to attend the Health & Fitness Market?

No, you are not required to attend, but you won’t want to miss it!

Can non-participants attend the Wellness Market?

Yes, non-participants are welcome.

The Race

Where does my race start?

On Bayshore Drive next to the Dali Museum

What time does my race start?

The 10K starts at 7am on Saturday.

The 5K starts at 8:45am on Saturday.

The Half Marathon starts at 7am on Sunday.


How will my individual event time be recorded?

Your B-tag timing chip, which comes attached to your run bib, will record your official time when you run over the timing mats.

Is there a time limit to complete the courses?

Yes, the Half Marathon time limit is 4 hours, the 10K time limit is 2 hours, and the 5K time limit is 1 hour. If you are still on the course after this time, you will be transported to the finish.

Will there be sport drink on the course Sunday?

Yes, there will be water and sport drink on the Half Marathon, 10K & 5K courses.

Will there be porta-potties on the course?

Yes, there will be porta-potties on the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K courses, located at every hydration station. There will also be porta-potties at the start.

Can I wear headphones in the race?

You can wear headphones, however, we encourage you to forego the headphones so that you can enjoy all of the sights, sounds, and entertainment on the course. If you do wear headphones, please keep the volume low for safety.

Will there be a Dry Bag Check available?

Yes, for the Half Marathon and 10K the dry bag check tent will be located near the start line. Please bring your own bag, or use the reusable bag given to you at packet pick-up. In an effort to reduce plastic waste, we will not provide plastic bags. You can include a change of clothes/shoes, and car keys if necessary, but please secure valuables (watches, jewelry, cell phones) in your car, give them to friends/family who are spectating, or leave them at home.

Are there pace groups for the Half Marathon?

Yes, these will be led by experienced runners on our St. Pete Half Marathon Pace Team.  Pacer groups are 1:15, 1:30, 1:45, 2:00, 2:15, 2:30, 2:45, 3:00, and 3:15.
