Gather your friends and family, and kick off your 4th of July celebrations with the 5th Annual St Pete Pier Run!  The 4-mile run/walk showcases the amazing St Pete Pier, which opened in 2020, as well as St Pete’s scenic waterfront.  Come and run/walk your FOUR ON THE FOURTH!


The Course

The beautiful, flat and fast course begins on the St Pete Pier near Spa Beach, goes along the scenic St Pete waterfront, and finishes on the Pier. The course is closed to traffic, and is limited to 1500 runners per wave. There will be one hydration station on course.

THE 2×4 CHALLENGE

Run Wave 1 at 6:30am, and then Wave 2 at 7:45am for an 8 mile total run! The 2×4 Challenge participants will receive one run bib, a race shirt, and two medals – the Pier Run finishers medal, and a special 2×4 Challenge medal.

BIB PICK-UP

July 3rd at Spa Beach on the St Pete Pier from 2pm-6pm, or July 4th (morning of the run) starting at 5:00am at Spa Beach on the St Pete Pier.

COSTUME CONTEST

We want you to dress up in your most fun and patriotic costume! Winners of “Best Overall” and “Most Patriotic” costumes will receive a FREE 5K entry to St Pete Run Fest.  Winner of “Best Group” will receive an awesome swag bag.

PIE EATING CONTEST

At the event you can sign up for our Pie Eating Contest, taking place at  9:00am at in Spa Beach by the stage. Limited to 20 people ready to have fun and get messy!

Youth-Farm-Graphic-black-text-240x300.pngWhen you register, you can also donate to our charity partner, the St Pete Youth Farm. A youth-led urban farm on a City of St Petersburg owned lot on the South side, the St. Pete Youth Farm is a place where people can access locally grown produce and learn to grow their own food. It also provides programming to teens, and promotes leadership skills, entrepreneurship, urban agriculture, and wellness. You can also donate directly on their website.

What do I get?

Included in the entry fee is a Pier Run bib with timing chip, custom designed shirt, custom designed finisher medal, and special finisher keepsake.  Plus, food from Colony Grill Pizza, Green Bench Brewing Company  and Grand Central Brewhouse local craft beer, non-alcoholic Athletic Brewing, 3 Daughters Brewing Retro Chill, Mother Kombucha, and canned water from Liquid Death.

REFUND POLICY

Since there are many services and supplies which we have to order/pay for ahead of time, there are NO REFUNDS of entry fees/service fees, no exceptions. However, you may DEFER your entry before June 15th, 2025 and receive a deferral code, worth 75% of your entry fee, for use towards the 2026 race.
