The Course

Your run starts on Bayshore Drive overlooking the waters of Tampa Bay and heads South towards the St. Pete Run Fest finish line.

Lil’ Shrimp Fun Runs: For the 1-2 year olds there’s the .05K fun run, and for the preschoolers aged 3-4 years old, there’s the .1K fun run!

PeliKids One Miler: Calling all kids aged 5-13 for a one mile fun run along the scenic waterfront of downtown St. Pete!

PeliKids Marathon Challenge: The PeliKids One Miler is also the culmination of an ongoing running/walking Marathon Challenge for kids in Kindergarten through 8th grade, aimed at promoting an active lifestyle and healthy habits for life. PeliKids will log a total of 25.2 miles at home or at school, prior to completing the final mile of this 26.2 Marathon Challenge in front of cheering fans at the St. Pete Run Fest Finish Line! Our motto is “I CAN DO 26.2!”

What do I get?

Each child will receive a high quality custom designed shirt and finishers medal. Those who complete the PeliKids Marathon Challenge (26.2 miles) will also receive a special keepsake when they bring their completed mileage tracker to packet pick-up!

#GoldTogether is the voice for pediatric cancer. Everyday 43 children (a full yellow bus) are told they have cancer in the United States.  One in 5 kids do not survive cancer. Our children deserve better.  All net proceeds from PeliKids Youth Runs are donated to #GoldTogether. Build healthy habits and kick kids cancer!
